Brent crude futures were up US$2.01, or 2.05 per cent, at US$99.93 a barrel by 8.02am GMT (4.02pm, Singapore time), after earlier touching US$100.19, while US West Texas Intermediate crude was up US$1.49, or 1.60 per cent, at US$94.52 a barrel.
